Anyone who goes outside should have at least one good fleece jacket. There’s just no other item for outdoor recreation that provides the optimal balance of warmth, durability, and functionality. With its ability to provide warmth even when wet, a fleece jacket will perform under many weather conditions to keep you comfortable and protected from the elements. Fleece jackets come in various weights and cuts that allow them to be used as outerwear or an insulating layer. No matter what you’re doing in the Great Outdoors, a fleece jacket is just the tool to get you through it.

Fleece jackets are available at many on-line retailers that carry a broad selection of fleece jackets for both insulating and outer wear use. My personal favorites for high quality fleece jackets are Patagonia, Cloudveil, and North Face. Awesome values on these brands can often be found at on-line retailers such as Sierra Trading Post or Campor. Other on-line reatilers such as REI.com and our hometown state favorite L.L. Bean.com offer their own brand of high quality fleece jackets at a good value on-line and in their stores. Even on-line retailers not well-known for clothing such as Amazon Amazon.com and Overstock.com have a good selection of fleece products.
